Designed to a Philosophy
A Major Design Criteria of Lims1 is that the system should be capable of being fully established and maintained by laboratory staff.
This is made possible through use of a comprehensive system of LIMS1 Setup Tables and built in Laboratory Format Report Generator developed specifically for use with Lims1. Using these tools the laboratory takes full control of the system.
Lims1 clients have used the system year in and year out performing routine changes to System Setup Tables and creating new reports to meet new analytical testing and client requirements.
Ongoing Support
Of course Lims1 consultants are always on hand to provide support services. These services can include remote access or downloading of your database to give you real time advise on best methods for establishing new types of analysis, procedures or reports.
While quite complex reports can be designed and implemented by laboratory staff, LTech also provides a Report Generator Service to help save you time and provide templates for future report development. The format is then emailed to you as an import file and Report Generator Utilities allow you to import the format directly into the system, adding it to the Report Generator Library.
Low Maintenance Database
Lims1 runs on Microsoft SQL Server ,a well supported and high performance Microsoft relational database.
